CVs with Excellence - Our Process
A CV is your primary personal marketing tool. It's the document that gets your foot in the door. Presenting your skills and experience effectively is the vital first step in getting the job you want. Whether online or on paper, your CV is your first contact with a prospective employer. If you want yours to stand out, you need to know what to say, how to present it and how to demonstrate to your new employer that you fit the bill.
Four simple stages to an interview-generating CV
Creating a CV with impact is designed to save you time and effort. All you need to do is provide the details of your career history and job targets, and leave the rest up to us. Your CV is individually crafted for you - we don't use standard formats or templates. Each one is worked from scratch to ensure your CV is targeted to the correct audience.
Stage One: Gather Information
We need to know as much as possible about your background, experience, skills, achievements and aspirations. Our straightforward online Career Questionnaire will guide you through the details we need to get started. Then one of our CV writers will call you to get a clearer understanding of your career history and future direction.
Stage Two: Write and Design
You can sit back and relax as we will be hard at work writing and designing a powerful marketing document. Combining our marketing expertise, knowledge of your target sector and writing skills, we will create an appropriate, focused CV - in effect, your personal brochure. This stage normally requires around three to five working days.
Stage Three: Review and Finalise Draft
When your first draft is ready, you will receive the file via email, fax or post (whichever you prefer). You will be asked to review the document and add any extra information we have identified as required, so we are confident we have included everything your target employer will need to know. You can of course make any amendments you like, and your project is not complete until you are 100% satisfied with your CV.
Stage Four: Complete and Despatch
When we receive your final approval, your CV is laser printed on high quality correspondence paper and posted by first class mail protected in a hard-backed envelope. You will also receive a copy by email.
